I grew up in a house bustling with siblings and animals. At the heart of it was my mum busy at the aga always cooking up something delicious to feed her hungry army. Growing up, we all enjoyed cooking with mum and I remember one Christmas where everyone was arguing over who would be able to contribute something to our Christmas lunch. During my time at university we lost our mum and without even realising it I started focusing my attentions on cooking as a way to channel my emotions. By the time I left university it was apparent cooking was an area I wanted to explore and I was fascinated by Irelands famous cooking school, Ballymaloe.
After graduating from Ballymaloe at the back end of 2014 my cooking career started in earnest.
Rosie & Ripe caters a wide variety of events ranging from intimate special dinners up to large weddings. Working alongside a team of great staff Rosie aims to bring your vision of your event to life with careful planning and bespoke menus to suit all her clients tastes.
Over the past few years fire has become a focal point for Rosie and Ripe especially when it comes to larger events. We can provide and cook on large hanging frames and asados at your party to add an element of theatre.
